What's better than barbecuing on the weekend?
Mmmmmmemories....
Ahhh! That greasy smoke burning my eyes every time I open the lid. Bees and wasps buzzin my head as I turn over the New York strip with my fingers. Who needs tongs? Another superbly blackened masterpiece.
My favorite! Lamb chops. Indisputable.
Of course, another perfect hot dog.
Grilled burger with lots of cheddar! Yum!

Or, how I learned to love the forbidden fruits
I cannot say why it was that I was so drawn to these simple fruits, this banana and apple, sitting there on my desk, ordinary in every respect. Yet, my attraction was immediate and unflagging. Something about the curves of these delicate fruits seemed so perfect as if they were not of nature at all. I looked at the soft skin protecting the sweet juices inside and I pondered whether I would enjoy eating them any more than I would enjoy admiring them. Ah, such is the dilemma of life, the destruction of what pleases you in the pursuit of every last possible pleasure. In the end, I ate them both and enjoyed them thoroughly. Yet, having eaten, I found myself hungry again and once more searching for a delicate fruit to consume.

All's Not Well Unless It Ends Well
Recently, I had the chance to experience some Thai cuisine that I had never eaten before. I was accustomed to Swedish food so that Thai food was quite a surprise to me. I had never had a meal like this one before. It was a very vigorous experience. I don't think that I have ever had quite so physical a meal before. The presentation of the meal was excellent and it made me very hungry. All of the appetizers prepared me for the main course. But when I finished the meal, I was still unsatisfied. I think that the ending of the meal was a bit of a let down after so much anticipation. Still, I would do it again any time. I just hope for a better ending next time.
