I drank a carton of Tesco's organic orange juice in the shower at the pool. I avoided the chocolate machine on the way out; it was difficult. At home I had a large cup of English Breakfast tea with a lot of organic semi-skimmed milk from Somerfields, perhaps 20% of my drink made with milk, and very weak tea. I ate a soft white roll with butter and blackberry jelly I made myself a few weeks ago from berries I picked around my house. Then I had two pieces of Tesco shortbread Petticoat Tails style. Finally I drank cold water from the tap. It is always ice cold.

No this ain't the Dairy Queen. Were talking real live New York City drag queens.
OK, some would say I'm a bad auntie, but at least I'm fun. My niece turned 16 this year and to celebrate, I took her to NYC for a weekend getaway. On the itinerary? A stop at Lucky Cheng's on First Avenue in the east village to have dinner with the drag queens. The food is mediocre Asian at best (in fact, I can't even remember what I ate), but it's worth the trip to watch these "ladies" vamp it up and do their thang!

Mmmmm! Saturday morning sausage and cheesey eggs!
These turned out pretty well, except for the one "oops" that rolled off the counter.
A couple of bucks at a quick run to Meijer produced the usual fixins for my favorite homemade breakfast:
Eggs duh
Bob Evans pork sausage
Shredded cheddar cheese
2% milk
I always cut up the sausages so I can mix in the eggs easily.
If you're auditing the egg count, you can see three are missing from the carton. One is in my hand, the second is in the foreground, and the third was a casualty of war.
Being right-handed, it's a little hard to crack an egg with my left hand while taking a picture.

How I Did It
Fry em up, scramble in the eggs. When they're pretty much done, toss in a handful of cheddar cheese and mix it up. Slide it all onto a plate and throw the pan out the window onto the pile of other pans.
A monkey can't miss with this meal.
Anyhoo, I think I'll change sausage brands next time. These have too much sage for my palette.
I used to have my pet monkey make this for me, but he always dropped in a lot of hair.

Bad airline food
The Northwest flight to Seattle back in 2000 was very comfortable.
BUT
The "lasagna", as they called it, was one of the worst things I ever put in my mouth.
Why did I take a picture of my food?
Who knows.
