Rachel Ray's stuff takes too long!
I was wondering what to do for dinner tonight when I remembered that I had a bag of frozen corn in the - get this - freezer. The best part is it heats in the bag! What a country!
OK, try to stay with me on this:
1) Place the bag in a microwave
2) Hit '5' (make sure to close the door first)
3) Go do something for 5 minutes
4) Get the bag out of the microwave and dump contents on a plate.
5) Enjoy!

Ya gotta grill the buns, too!
Yes, the grilled bun is a must.
The poppyseeds, that's how they do it in Chicago.
But that's where I draw the yellow line.
Beer Mustard.
This is the best yellow mustard. From way back in Howell, MI farmer's market.
Great combination.

Drink 4 Lunch = Drunch
Hey, what a great idea! Let's have a quick margarita at New Rebozo's before we go to the street fair!
The back patio looks great with the pastel colors and chameleons on the walls.
Whoops, you can't have just a drink outside in Oak Park, IL . You have to order food. Well, OK, chips and salsa and some delicious Paco's guacamole!
Tequilas: Tamarind and Banana. Mmmmmmmm! (Oh, my God!)
Too bad you can't see any of it. All was gone before I could get out my camera.

Steak on the Terrace!
You can't go out all the time.
A couple rib eyes from Whole Foods.
Fresh asparagus from the farmer's market last week.
Looks like we're in business.
How would you like your steak, madam?
On the terrace on a plate, please. And could you cook that medium?
We also got these shrimp appetizers from WF, but they were nothing more than shrimp cakes. Too much bread, inside and out.
A dollop of our home made garlic chive butter on the steaks.
I took them off the grill at 143 F.
Remember to let your meat rest. Sometimes it's not easy.
Blue Moon to wash it all down.
We figured we saved fifty bucks and got a lot more food than going to a restaurant. Plus we can eat the leftovers tomorrow!
