Mariachi at an Italian Restaurant?
Yeah! A Mariachi singer at Mama Cimino's in Dixon, Illinois!
Yeah, go figure, Italian food with Mexican entertainment.
He was pretty good, too. He played and sang great! Regaled us with a few hilarious stories, too.
Testament to the great food, there were a lot of big, big people eating there. But, apparently, they were also no fun at all. While we were singing and laughing, having a good ol time, one couple kept on reading their newspapers while the singer serenaded them. Yes, there was more than one thing wrong there.
After a half an hour, we were the only ones in the whole place.
Maybe it was our singing?
Ahem. Bud was the best beer they had.
